Do you agree that we all have a heart? Yes rite? Im not talking abt the biological one. Im talking about the inner man, the soul, the emotion of it.
We all NOW currently live in a dog eat dog world. Yes. If one is weak we lose out. One who is strong wins. Its a rat race I tell you, with everyone running after the cheese like freaks.
The one thing man desires....fame money power. And all these fueled by greed lust and pride. Is it Good to have greed lust and pride? Lets be honest with ourselves. None of us can ever escape the fact that life is really unfair at times. Its sickening, its demoralizing, its hurting, its addictive, its crappy. It never ends does it?
And what happens to our hearts as we live in this earth? It is exposing our hearts to many bad things and turning it into stone. With all the hate, hurts and more negativity. All these have caused us to have a really cold stone heart. Dont believe me? U can take a look at any of my frends blog lists and i can bet you almost all have posted something abt their life being screwed, how they hate some people, how they dont care abt others, how they keep blaming life and God, how they resent, envy, disrespect, despise, etc. The list goes on. Its no wonder the world grows cold. We all are making it cold. And when is finally ice cold. Life and love will stop altogether. Im not kidding if this goes on. The earth is experiencing global warming. But people are going through an ice age process.
When a heart turns to stone, it literally cannot absorb anything good anymore. When was the last time u see a rock suck water? Yes you can talk about molecular porosity but when u POUR water on a stone, does it all go in at once? NO. Thats why we dont use stones to wash our dishes with the soap. We use a sponge.
The heart cannot be a stone. If it were like a stone its as good as dead. But i wana tell you guys that in the very first place, our heart was meant to be soft and spongy. Not to absorb the bad things, but to absorb the good things. God made it that way. Its just tat we tend to choose to absorb and let the bad stuff get to us. Its pretty normal in fact. Even I MYSELF do absorb some bad things once a while.
But this is what we need to do : Pluck out tat stone.......and throw it away. Thats the only way to get rid of it. We will feel grudgingly to let it go. But a stone is worth nothing.
You keep all that hurt and hate in you, its going to grow. And its exactly like cancer. The longer u keep the more it grows. Cancer kills. So does hurt and hate. And you will die from the inside out which is more painful than the other way. The only way u can cure is cut the bad part away.
If you want to see a change in your life, i tell you honestly, change your heart. Replace it with a sponge. And absorb all the good things. Like a sponge with dish wash, we use our hearts and absorb the good things, and then use it to clean our messy lives.
But our dish wash needs be of the best quality coz the mess in our lives are of the most stubborn. So whats the best soap? I can tell u, its not any self help motivational inspirational book. Those are good, but it only cleanses surface deep. The best is : The Words of The Bible.
Why? God's Word is in that Bible.
"In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word is God."
John 1:1
The Soap that is only able to clean a messy life. If you are denying it then im positively sure that YOU have been convicted. Coz when u deny you know something i said is beyond your comprehension yet its more impactive than what you know. Dont believe me? Then i can suggest you read the following verse and see how you feel :
"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?"
1 Corinthians 3:16
Its true. We are all a place where God lives. And when we have a heart of stone and a deaf ear, how do you ever expect to have happiness and love in you? Coz God is not with you and not in you! In the first place already the problem is with US. Not God or other people. If we are so stubborn and so hard to absorb good stuff, how can we ever expect our lives to come into color? Honestly , if u still choose to keep that stone you are a fool by no means. And sometimes even fools are considered smart if they think just a little bit more reasonably.
Im sharing this not because im a Christian. But im sharing this coz i am a friend who loves others as much as God has loved me.
If God didnt bother to love me, I wouldnt be bothered to love you guys either. But i do.
And so does God who loves you even more.
There is no one else that i know who can heal, restore, provide and redeem me and anyone else more better than Jesus Christ.
